Visit Kacár-tanya / Kacár Homestead in the next village, Szokolya.
»A man who livs and works in harmony with nature and a rural lifestyle can perform wonders«. On the Kacár Homestead we are trying to re-introduce the lifestyle that existed around the beginning of the twentieth century as there have been major changes since then. We would like to take those who are interested, back to a time before such changes, so they can enjoy the fruits of their own handiwork, try out the old techniques, bring old tools back to life – in other words – experience traditional farming.

16 October Sunday afternoon Rowing On The Old Danube
On Sunday afternoon, if we are lucky with the weather, we would like to take you on a short rowing trip by canoes on the old Danube. The canoes are safe and a guide will come with us.
If the weather is not suitable or you do not wish to attend this trip we will have other ideas for this afternoon.
